The currents trials of defamation case between the pirates of Caribbean actor Johnny Depp and his Ex wife Amber Heard is taking new twists on every day.
Now after four weeks of testimony ,the trial between the two is on way to an end.
The pirates of Caribbean actor Johnny Depp sued his Ex-wife with $50 Million alleging that her 2018 Washington op-ed damaged his public image and defamed him.
He also said that due to her post he lost few films as well and which cost him around $300 Million.In return Amber Heard countersued Johnny Depp with $100 Million.
Amber heard in her Washington op-ed 2018 showed herself as “the survivor of domestic abuse” although in her post she did not mentioned Johnny’s name anywhere.
It is said that the defamation case trial may end up with its verdict on May 27.
Now between the case trials Amber Heard while testifying on the stand pave a path for Johnny Depp’s Legal team. As while testifying Heard addresses Johnny Depp’s Ex girlfriend ,Kate Moss the two were dating around year 1994-1997 .
Heard said while testifying on May 5, while recalling the incident which happened on march 2015 when the two of them were together , “she punched on Johnny Depp’s face out of fear just to save her sister Whitney”, because Depp was going to push her sister out of the staircase.
While recalling this incident , she instantly thought about Kate Moss and the stairs.
Earlier Depp’s lawyers did not included Kate Moss for the defamation case but now as Heard has used Moss during her testimony on May 5. This have paved the path for Depp’s legal team to bring Kate Moss as the witness . she will testify on Wednesday trial through videocall ,a source said.
